    Policies and Procedures Review

PLEASE NOTE: Information in this article is correct at the time of publication, please contact DFA Law for current advice on older articles.

As policies and procedures periodically require updating to ensure compliance with all changes to the law, we are offering a free review service for employment contracts and staff handbooks, in order to offer you the peace of mind that your policies and procedures are compliant with recent legislation affecting a number of employment law areas such as:

    • retirement age,
    • the calculation of holiday pay,
    • flexible working arrangements,
    • whistleblowing legislation,
    • further developments concerning employees’ use of social media in the workplace and at home.

It may also be necessary to consider restrictive covenants in order to protect your business where you employ staff in senior roles as they will have access to confidential or commercially sensitive information and are also likely to exert material influence over your customers, clients and junior employees.

In the event that any amendments or updates are required, we will agree a fixed fee with you for carrying out the necessary amendments.

If you are interested in taking up this proposal, please arrange to forward copies of your current contract of employment, and staff handbook via post or email.

If you do not have a current staff handbook, please let me know, and I can arrange to prepare a staff handbook for you subject to agreeing a fixed fee.
